IKS Health takes a very pragmatic view of technology . We see technology simply as a tool in the service of the clinician and the healthcare enterprise . Our Care Enablement Platform is built around the idea of ‘ core vs chore ’: If it doesn ’ t need to be done by the clinician , it shouldn ’ t be .
So much of the industry is geared around retrospective aspects of revenue cycle management . There ’ s enormous resources put into collecting money after claims have been rejected . IKS is reimagining on the front end how to use predictive analysis to avoid claims ever being rejected in the first place so that organisations are paid appropriately , fairly , quickly and efficiently .
We use this same principle around clinical support . By using AI technology with a human-in-the-loop , we can remove the chore of clinical documentation and coding and provide the clinician with the right tools so they can focus their time on patient care .
All the same principles with how care can be provided apply to VBC as well . It ’ s providing tools that really support clinicians as they care for patients that need more than a 15-minute office visit . There are a lot of things needed for patients with complex needs that many offices do not have the ability to provide efficiently .
