As a long-term campaigner for women in tech , I congratulate AND Digital on its tenth anniversary and on this pivotal report . It celebrates the achievements and accomplishments of senior female professionals , suggests a pathway for more women to achieve senior roles , and provides a roadmap for a more genderdiverse tech industry .
This report celebrates both progress to date and serves as a call to action for the future . Since I started my femaleoriented software house back in 1962 , there have been enormous strides in the representation of senior female professionals within the tech industry . Yet , amidst the victories , there remain persistent barriers that continue to hinder the full realisation of gender diversity in leadership roles .
This report stands as a testament to the collective efforts of private individuals , organisations and communities dedicated to fostering inclusivity and equity . It celebrates all those who have blazed trails , shattered glass ceilings and inspired the generations to come . Beyond celebration , this report is a roadmap – a guiding light for organisations striving to cultivate diverse leadership teams . Its practical recommendations are rooted in insight gathered over the past decades .
