The healthcare sector in the UK is undergoing one of the most significant infrastructure transformations in recent history , driven by the ambitious New Hospital Programme ( NHP ). The programme , which sets out the Government ’ s strategy on the replacement and upgrading of 25 hospitals in England , marks the largest hospital building effort in a generation .
