REBECCA MILES, EDITOR

Hello and welcome to the 34th edition of Intelligent Health. tech and my first edition as editor. I am looking forward to sharing all the latest news, thought leadership and updates on technology within the healthcare industry from around our regions. You may notice a slightly different look to the magazine this month.

As part of the Lynchpin Media brand, the magazine has undergone a redesign. It still focuses on expert insight for leaders and their teams within the healthcare industry, and there are also some new additions, including an expert column from a member of our strategic content team.
The front cover features Dr Haider Al Enzi, Managing Director at Al- Futtaim Health, which provides comprehensive healthcare services through its HealthHub clinics across Dubai, ensuring high-quality, accessible care for individuals and families. He discusses the company’ s long-term vision for transforming healthcare in the UAE and how it aims to create a new benchmark for healthcare that is both excellent and equitable. He also discusses digital health technologies and the role of analytics. Turn to page 14.
Our expert column on page 18 comes from Ben Leitch, CxO Cyber Connections and Digital Content Manager at Lynchpin Media. He talks about how the NHS is trialling an AI platform that drafts discharge documents in minutes, promising to cut waiting times and free up beds. But while the productivity gains are enticing, should clinicians place their trust and their patients’ safety in algorithms?
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has performed the Gulf region’ s first robotic lung transplant while also joining forces with Oracle and G42 to launch an AI-powered healthcare platform, reinforcing its position as a global leader in surgical innovation and Digital Transformation. Find out more from page 24.
And from page 35, we hear about how Korea University Medicine deployed Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise wireless network to power Smart Hospital innovation by upgrading its three Seoul hospital campuses.
We also have an Intelligent Technology section dedicated to all the latest technology developments affecting healthcare and a page called Project Round-Up which features news from across our regions.
