HEALTH FORCE RAISES € 4.2 MILLION TO SCALE AI AGENTS FOR HOSPITAL OPERATIONS ACROSS EUROPE

Health Force, a European HealthTech start-up building enterprise-grade AI agents for hospital operations, has raised € 4.2 million in seed funding. The round was led by LUMO Labs, with participation from Step Venture, Next Tier Ventures, Target Global and Calm / Storm.

Hospitals across Europe face a widening capacity gap: demand for care rises every year, while the people who do the operational work behind it are increasingly difficult to hire. Backlogs capacity and complete processes that previously took weeks within a single day. Three out of four cases are completed without a human touch; the remaining case is prepared by the agent and handed to staff with exactly what needs checking, cutting the time it takes to resolve.
Headquartered in Barcelona, with an operations hub in Milan, Health Force is already working with some of Italy’ s largest private hospital groups, including Humanitas and Gruppo San
This new model changes the economics of running a hospital,” said Giovanni Bonora, CFO at Ospedale Galeazzi, Gruppo San Donato.
“ Hospitals don’ t need another dashboard; they need the work done. We offer hospitals pre-trained AI agents that log into existing systems and complete real work. All agents run on the same platform, which means hospitals work with one partner to solve many problems. It also means overcoming Europe’ s market fragmentation: the build and processes can take weeks to complete. Health Force closes this gap with enterprise-grade AI agents that work alongside hospital operations teams and autonomously manage end-to-end processes under human supervision. The technology now runs hospital-insurance operations end-toend, completing prior-authorisation checks, claims processing, regulatory reporting and other operational tasks, handling the work behind more than 200,000 patient cases a year at Italy’ s leading hospitals.
Built on a deterministic-first platform, the agents’ actions are fully traceable. The technology helps hospitals reduce backlogs, increase operational
Donato. Its platform is also used for hospital quality reporting in Portugal.
“ Health Force has changed the way we work: our teams are working alongside the agents to manage insurance operations in a completely different way than they were used to just a few months ago. From an operational perspective, the change is structural, not incremental” said Valeria Ingrosso, COO at Humanitas Research Hospital.
“ Hospital activity grows every year, while the people for the operational work behind it are harder to find. With Health Force agents in daily production, our capacity grows with our volumes and scales on demand. same platform automating hospitalinsurance workflows in Italy automates SICA reporting in Portugal and aims to automate KHVVG reporting in Germany next,” said Fadi Haddad, Co-founder and CEO at Health Force.
“ As hospitals look for ways to improve efficiency without placing further strain on their teams, solutions that can automate repetitive processes securely and reliably are becoming increasingly important. With proven deployments across leading European hospitals, Health Force has built a strong foundation for scale and we look forward to supporting the team in its next phase of growth,” said Jorge Blasco, Partner at LUMO Labs.
