SERVE FIRST UNVEILS VISION, HELPING HEALTHCARE TEAMS EVIDENCE HYGIENE AND IPC COMPLIANCE

Serve First, an AI-powered operational excellence platform, has unveiled Vision, a new AIpowered capability that turns existing cameras into live operational data, helping teams evidence hygiene, infection prevention and control standards across key areas.

Healthcare teams are under pressure to maintain hygiene and IPC standards, while also creating a clear record that critical processes have been followed. Yet many checks are still evidenced through periodic audits, manual logs or observations after the fact. Vision gives teams a continuous view of key compliance processes, helping them act quickly and evidence what has happened.
Designed with privacy in mind, Vision analyses camera feeds on a device in each location, with faces blurred at source. No personal data is stored or sent to the cloud for analysis. Instead, only nonidentifying data leaves the healthcare setting, covering operational metrics, as well as health, safety and hygiene data. This also helps keep processing costs down, making the technology practical across wider estates, rather than just a small number of high-profile sites.
Key features include:
» Hand hygiene evidence: Vision can help evidence whether hand hygiene processes have been followed on entry and exit, giving teams a clearer record of compliance across key areas.
» Bay cleaning verification: Vision can help verify and timestamp when cleaning has been completed, giving healthcare teams stronger evidence that spaces have been prepared to the required standard.
» Sterile-area access records: Vision can flag access to sterile or controlled areas, helping teams maintain a clearer record of when and where access events occur.
Unlike standalone video analytics tools, Vision connects live healthcare site data directly with Serve First’ s existing customer feedback, audits, tasks and training workflows. This gives healthcare operators a source of live operational data alongside their existing insights, helping teams move from spotting a problem to acting on it in the same platform, rather than relying on another dashboard.
Erol Ayvaz, CEO and Co-founder of Serve First, said:“ Healthcare teams need to maintain high standards of hygiene and infection prevention every day, but proving that the right processes have been followed can still depend heavily on manual checks, logs and periodic audits.
“ Vision changes that by turning key hygiene and access processes into practical, real-time evidence. Teams can see where checks have been completed, where spaces have been cleaned and where controlled areas have been accessed, helping them act quickly and maintain a clearer record of compliance.”
